Mrs Valerie Mary Bower of Clayton, sadly passed away at Westfield Park Care Home, Goole on Friday 15th November 2024, aged 82 years.

Valerie was born and raised in Halifax and lived there for 22 years.

Valerie worked as a school secretary for many years, working at Southmere Primary School for over 20 years and prior to that Lidget Green Middle School for over 25 years.

She also loved Dancing, Walking, Cooking, Singing, Sewing, Crosstitch and traveling.

Valerie will be sadly missed by many including her son Richard and her grandchildren Hayley and Brandon. She was also a dear friend to many and will sadly be missed by all. 

Valerie's funeral service will take place on Wednesday 4th December at Scholemoor Crematorium at 2:00pm.

Family flowers only please, Donations in the memory of Valerie would be much appreciated, with all monies going to Alzheimer's and Dementia. A Donations box will be left at the back of the Chapel on the day of the service for this purpose.
