Joan sadly passed away at Lonsdale Mews Care Home in Quorn on December 15, 2024, at the age of 96. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mum’s early career was as a librarian in Salford, so we feel that supporting the Literacy Trust—a charity that helps young people with reading—would be a meaningful way to honor her memory.
This is particularly fitting as the Trust has recently started a project in Salford
