MAX RICHARDS
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Max, who passed away unexpectedly at his home in St Austell on 16th August 2026, aged 86 years.
Beloved husband to Irene (deceased), much loved stepdad to Nigel and Simon (deceased), brother to Keith and Angela (both deceased), brother-in-law to Josie and Ed, uncle to Simon, Emma and Chris and friend to many.
Max was fondly known as “Mr Stenalees” and "Mr Bowls”, due to his extensive involvement with the Chapel and the Bowls club throughout his life. He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and many friends.
Funeral service to be held at Penmount Crematorium (Trelawny Chapel), Truro on Wednesday 9th September 2026 at 10:00am, with the Wake from 11am at Roche Sports & Social Club, Trezaise Road, Roche. PL26 8HD.
Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, for Marie Curie, can be made online via the Funeral Directors website or by retiring collection at the service.
