  • You don't have to make an appointment at our funeral homes. However, doing so will ensure that someone can be available to cater to your needs. When arranging a funeral, our Funeral Directors are happy to visit you in your own home, if required.


  • Third party funeral costs are additional charges which we will manage for you and attach to your single invoice. Get in touch with us to confirm costs and plan a funeral to fit your budget.


  • If you choose to arrange the funeral with us, you will be given the option of a complimentary Funeral Notice. We will set it up for you using the details discussed during the arrangements. All we need is an email address.


  • Dignity Funeral Plans let you pay for your funeral in advance and at today's price. It's a way of taking control of the unexpected, setting out the arrangements and limiting the costs by paying for the services included in the funeral plan upfront.

Service was excellent, and communications with Melissa were always handled very well and sympathetically. The only hiccup was the death notice which should have gone in the West Briton before the funeral but went in the Western Morning News instead. Otherwise a five star rating would have been given. Every other aspect went off faultlessly.

Death can come unexpectedly and we were left not knowing what to do. Ken Newcombe came recommended by a friend. On our first meeting we met with Alf and Sam. Alf was very personable and we instantly felt that we could rely on his professionalism. He was ably assisted by Sam and they made a good team. We felt very comfortable to put our complete trust in them.
From our first meeting we felt reassured that all would go smoothly. We wanted an informal funeral and had some very specific requests. Alf made us feel that anything was possible.
They were so respectful to my mum whilst looking after here at the funeral parlour. I could tell they had taken great care of her.
Alf and Sam communicated with the crematorium to makes sure all went smoothly. Alf had contacts of professionals who could take the service and we interviewed several celebrants whilst in our meeting. Music, songs and the procedure was discussed in detail. Arrangements for flowers, how they were placed, how we would sit and where mums coffin would be placed was discussed and organised. They pulled the whole process together. The service was perfect. Just what mum would have wanted. It all went smoothly, nothing was rushed.

When I first met Melissa I was in bits, she sat me down and went through what I required, previously Jackie dealt with my dads funeral , I was upset on hearing she had died , but melIssa has stepped into her shoes and did everything I required even though I was 300 miles away, I felt she looked after me and even managed to sort my weird phone messages out even after work hours , loved the attention to detail even after work hours ,please send a huge hug to her from the read family.

From start to finish the staff were very kind and compassionate, Jacky was so good right from the minute I first met her, listening to what I wanted at the funeral and not trying to change things just suggesting little touches that meant so much like having the coffin draped in the Cornish flag which was the perfect touch for a true Cornish Man.

We didn't want a religious funeral and the celebrant David who Jacky arranged for us did a perfect job. Would just like to thank all involved in my husband funeral for your caring, compassionate handling of all details of the funeral.

Excellent service with great attention to detail. At a difficult time I felt that everything was taken on board by Jacky and that once I had made the necessary decisions about what was wanted I didn’t need to worry about the funeral. Great customer care;I was filled with confidence that everything would run smoothly and that I was getting exactly what I wanted. I felt fully supported at an emotional time and nothing was too much trouble.
