In loving memory of Daniel
Daniel was born on September 16, 1987, at St Heliers Hospital and he left this world on his 37th birthday, September 16, 2024. He is survived by his parents, Rosemay and Jean-Claude, and his siblings, Jean-Paul, Sandrine, Fabrice, and Emilie.
A lifelong football enthusiast, Daniel was an avid supporter of Arsenal and Wimbledon F.C. From a young age it was clear that he had a gift for music which shaped his personal and professional life. But he also had many other interests like learning Mandarin and playing Mahjong to name a few.
All who knew Daniel will remember his boundless kindness and selflessness. He has been a long serving community volunteer with AGE UK, helping those in need with grocery shopping and giving his time as a gardener.
Daniel's passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of all who knew him. His legacy will live on in the love and warmth he gave to everyone he encountered and the smile that remains forever imprinted on our hearts.
We will say our final farewell to Daniel on October 3rd, 2024, at 1 p.m. at St John Fisher Church. The cremation service will follow at 2:40 p.m., and we will gather to celebrate his life at the wake from 3.30 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, we request donations to be made to support a cause close to Daniel's heart (Diabetes UK). The dress code is smart casual/formal.
As we grieve, we hold onto these words: “Grief is the last act of love we have to give to those we loved. Where there is deep grief, there was great love.” Daniel’s love was immense, and so is the grief that accompanies his loss.
