How do you decide what to highlight of a person's life when you've known them all of yours, and why didn't we ask her to write this herself?
She was always interested in the lives of her siblings, sister in law and their families. In the last few months she got to enjoy two new babies in the family through photographs and videos, and we all know how she would have enjoyed holding them too!
The love she shared with her sweetheart, Jack was evident to all. I doubt it will ever feel right to see one without the other nearby or sat holding hands.
As a parent she used half her beloved garden to grow vegetables as money was always tight. They gave their children an abundance of things money can't buy like love, laughter, play and happiness. When her adored granddaughter came along they gave her those things too.
Over the years there have many friends from the various clubs and groups she went to. In later years she made friends out of the carers that she saw regularly.
