The Life and Love of George Cherry
It is with great sadness that the family of George Cherry share the news of his passing, following an eight‑month battle with an aggressive brain tumour (Glioblastoma).
George passed peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, with his favourite music playing — loud enough that we’re sure he could still feel the beat.
A life gone far too soon, leaving behind love, laughter and memories that will last forever. Recently retired from the London Fire Brigade, George was also a much‑loved electrician and all‑round handyman, always ready to help anyone who needed it. Above all, he was a devoted husband, dad, son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend.
