Rachel sadly passed away on the 17th May 2025 at the age of 75.
She had battled and overcome breast cancer for more than 20 years and in recent years secondary bone cancer, which she fought with all her might & determination.
She was a true fighter and lived her fullest to the very end and she will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.
The Funeral Service will take place on Monday 2nd June 2025, St Columba's Church, Tong Street at 12:30pm, followed by internment at Bowling Cemetery at 2pm, then the wake will be held at Laisterdyke Cricket Club, Broad Lane, BD4 8PA
She will be brought home Sunday 1st June at 6pm, where people can come to see her for one final time and pay a private tribute and say goodbye to her if they wish.
Flowers are welcome either at the house prior to the service or at the cemetery and any monetary donations will be greatfully received and passed to Marie Curie who looked after Rachel, in her memory.
