Peacefully on June 17th in Elwick Grange Care Home, Vera aged 97 years, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late George, dearly loved mam of Kathryn, cherished mother-in-law of Bill and much loved youngest sister of the late Kenneth, Doreen, Enid and Charles. A talented amateur artist and a kind and caring friend to many over the years, Vera’s sparkling eyes and warm heart will be sadly missed.
Funeral service and committal to be held in the Parish Church of St Luke’s, Tunstall Avenue, on Friday July 12th at 11am, followed by private cremation.
All are welcome, please meet at the church. After the service everyone is kindly invited to join the family for light refreshments in the church hall.

Family gratitude goes to all at Elwick Grange, past and present, for the nine happy years of comfort and security given to ‘our Ve’.
