Caren Goatham recently suffered an unexpected stroke and sadly passed away peacefully on Wednesday 18th March, surrounded by love.
She was a devoted mum and a loving daughter, nanny, sister, and partner. Caren gave so much of herself to others and asked for very little in return. Her kindness, strength and warmth touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
She leaves behind her mum, her children, her grandchildren, and her partner, along with a legacy of love that will live on through them.
Our mum passed away in a foreign country under incredibly challenging circumstances, and we would like to sincerely thank everyone for the support, kindness and compassion shown to our family over the past month and a half. Our mum suffered a stroke due to hypertension, a condition she faced for a long time. In her memory, we feel it is fitting that any charitable donations go to the British Heart Foundation, whose research into hypertension and heart health helps so many families.
Caren truly was, and always will be, an inspirational woman.
She will be forever loved and never forgotten. We aim to give her the very best send‑off and to celebrate her life in the way she deserves.
