Peacefully at home on 18th September 2025, aged 83 years.
Beloved husband and soulmate of Irene. A devoted dad to Jonathan, Julie, Melanie and Michaela, and a much-loved and respected father-in-law to Linda and Dai. A proud and loving grandfather to Joseph, David, David, Louise, Alan and the late Patrick.
A cherished great-grandfather to Dylan, Maisie, Danielle, Leiarni, Kellan, Brooke, Peyton, Kian, Liam and Caitlyn. Great-great-grandfather to little Lincoln. Dear brother to Yvonne and the late Tony, Shirley, Jan and Terrance.
Michael lived a life full of love, faith and service. A lifelong member of Gabalfa Community Centre, he served faithfully as a trustee and committe member, helping to keep the centre at the heart of the community he cherished. Later in life, he was affectionately known as the "lollipop man," safely guiding children across the road with his familiar smile and friendly wave.
He was the happiest surrounded by family and friends, sharing laughter, stories and his quiet wisdom. His kindness, patience and generosity touched everyone who knew him.
Michael will be remembered with great love, missed every day, and held forever in our hearts.
Following the funeral service, family and friends are warmly invited to return to Gabalfa Community Centre to share memories and refreshments in the place that meant so much to him.
