Jimmy passed away peacefully on 19th January 2026 at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, aged 77, following a severe stroke. A dearly loved husband to Barbara, dad to Sharon and the late Kenneth, papa to Martin and Kaitlyn, and great‑papa to George, he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday 5th February 2026 at 10:30am at Masonhill Crematorium, Ayr. In lieu of flowers, donations if desired are welcomed to the Hyper Acute Stroke Unit at the Queen Elizabeth who cared for Jimmy. Following the service, a funeral tea will take place at Cumnock Juniors, and all family and friends are welcome to attend.
