With the heaviest of hearts we regret to inform you that Bernard passed away peacefully on Thursday 19 March surrounded by his loving wife Valerie and his three other immediate family members.
We recognise that we need to mark 'a life well lived'. But we shall forever miss Bernard's unique charisma, sense of humour, as well as his kind, caring and gentle nature. May these qualities live on in all of us.
Dearest Bernard:
You were brave and strong to the end.
You never complained once about your own situation and saw the good in everyone.
Please now rest in eternal peace knowing your work is done.
From all of us near and far who will continually care and remember you.
