Marion sadly passed away at home on Thursday 19 March 2026, aged 92 years.
Born on 7 August 1933, Marion lived her life with quiet strength, warmth, and a wonderful sense of humour. She took great pride in her work as an Office Manager in the retail fashion industry, a career she truly loved and talked about fondly. Her dedication, organisation, and eye for detail stayed with her in every aspect of life.
Marion was the devoted wife of Ken, whom she lost far too soon in 1996, and she carried his memory with her always. She was a deeply loving and proud mother to her son, Andrew, whose life she shaped with care, encouragement, and unconditional love.
Those who knew Marion will remember her kindness, her generosity, and her gentle wit and laughter. She had a way of making people feel welcome and valued, and her warmth left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her strength of character and quiet resilience were an inspiration to her family.
Marion will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered, always held close in the hearts of those who knew her.
A service to celebrate Marion’s life will take place at Loughborough Crematorium on Wednesday 29 April, commencing at 12.30pm.
All who knew Marion are warmly welcome to attend.
