It is with great sadness we announce the passing of a cherished husband and devoted dad. Gareth passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on 21st March 2026, aged 73, with his loving family at his side. Dearly loved by his wife Trudy, daughters Bethan and Carys, son-in-law Ben, brother Ken and sister-in-law Pam, sister-in-law Pat and brother-in-law Mostyn and all his wider family. ‘G’ will be forever missed by all who knew and loved him.
Resting at D. Caesar Jones, 55 Pantbach Road, Rhiwbina, Cardiff until the private cremation service at Briwnant Chapel, Thornhill on Thursday 23rd April 2026 at 1pm. This will be followed by a service of celebration of Gareth’s life, and the many lives he touched, at Christchurch United Church, Llanedeyrn Drive, Llanedeyrn, Cardiff CF23 9EE at 2.15pm. Everyone is welcome to attend this service.
Family flowers only. Donations, if so desired, can be made online to Velindre Cancer Centre or via a donation box on the day to The Colorectal Cancer Research at Velindre, Marie Curie or City Hospice.
