On Tuesday 21st August, Brenda sadly passed away aged 86 years after a short illness. A kind and generous lady, Brenda will be very much missed by all her Family and Friends.
She was a well known lifelong Tottington resident who spent much of her life working as a volunteer to organise activities for children and young people in the village, e.g. Tottington Playscheme, Laurel Juniors, Laurel Playcentre, Tottington Youth Club etc.
Family flowers only please, but if you would like to make a donation in memory of Brenda please use the link to donate to The Sunnywood Project who provide activities for children and young people in the local area. Brenda was keen that any donations went to the provision of activities for children and young people.
After the service and committal everyone is invited to a celebration of Brenda's life at The Robin Hood, 19 Market Street, Tottington, BL8 4AA from 11am. If you would like to join us at The Robin Hood, please let us know by texting Neil on 07598292939 before Sunday the 2nd August with numbers attending and any dietary requirements.
Please note that Brenda requested that people wear informal clothes to the service.
