Lindsay Paul Hancock, aged 76, of Myrtle Drive, Burwell, passed away at West Suffolk Hospital on Wednesday 22nd January 2025; surrounded by his beloved children, Joanne, Fia and Nathan, and his youngest granddaughter, Sophie.
Loving son of the late Lennox Roger & Madeline Emily Hancock, of Carter Road, Burwell, and brother to the late Graham, and to Madeleine and Ros. Very proud grand-dad to Amy, Sophie, Raffi, Oscar and new grand-daughter to join the family imminently. Uncle to Joseph, James, Edward, Sam, George, Timmy, Jacob and Alexander. And a (usually) jolly father-in-law,too. Friend to many in the village, and beyond...
His quirky humour and kind nature will be hugely missed by us all.
All welcome at Lindsay's funeral service, which will take place at St Mary's Church, Burwell, on Thursday 20th January 2025, followed by a committal at West Suffolk Crematorium, Bury St Edmunds at 2.00pm. The wake will be held at the Ex-Servicemen's Club (the Legion) in Burwell following the church service.
