The family of Roy Charles Smith is deeply saddened to announce his passing on the 22nd of January 2026, surrounded by family. Born on September 26th 1946, in Coton Park, Linton. A cherished husband to Elaine and beloved father to Roy and Lucy. He touched so many hearts and filled our lives with warmth, laughter and kindness. We will forever carry his love in our hearts.
The funeral service will be held at Bretby Crematorium, Cedar (formerly Carnarvon), on the 12th February 2026 at 10.30 am. The Wake will be at The Greyhound Inn, Woodville. All are welcome.
Donations in memory of Roy to be shared between Parkinson's UK and Cancer Research UK.
