It is with great sadness that the family of Paul Alexander O’Hare announce his passing on 22 April 2026, aged 38.
Paul will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He is survived by: his partner Emma, his daughter Raiya and stepsons Logan, Declan and Rio; his parents Harry and Lissa; his brothers and sisters Emma, Kaia, Liam and Hamish; and his grandparents Les and Ann. He is predeceased by his mother Anne and grandparents: Connie and Joe; and Eileen and Deak.
Paul was a gentle, well-educated and charming man with a wicked sense of humour who was devoted to his family and was looked up to by those who knew him well for his loyalty and rare generosity of spirit. His calm kindness and care for others was a hallmark throughout his life.
Despite his ADHD and early loss, he had a happy childhood and successfully overcame most of the effects of his condition, he worked hard to provide for his family and be there for others. He lived his short life to the full and our lives were the better for the privilege of knowing him. He was much loved.
A memorial service will be held at St Frances of Rome, RC Church, Sussex Avenue, Ross-on-Wye, HR9 5AL at 12 noon on Tuesday 2 June 2026, followed by refreshments at the nearby Royal Hotel Ross-on-Wye. All are welcome.
Instead of flowers, please make donations to the ADHD UK charity.
