MIKE THOMAS
Passed away peacefully on 22nd June 2025, Michael Edward Leighton, aged 84 years of Veryan Green. Former owner of the Seal Sanctuary and Newquay Zoo.
Beloved husband to Jenny, much loved stepdad to Ben and Holly, adored grandpa to Toby, Archie, Barney and Kittow.
Mike will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
Funeral service to be held at Glynn Valley Crematorium, Bodmin on Tuesday 15th July at 12:30pm.
For those attending the service, you are welcome to wear bright colours or a splash of colour in honour of Mike.
Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to be split between Children's Hospice South West and Helston Railway Preservation Society, can be made online via the Funeral Directors website, or by retiring collection at the service.
