The family of Richard Joseph Caistor Dobson are sad to announce that he passed away at home on 22nd November 2025 aged 100 years. He leaves behind two daughters, Kinga Worsfold and Eleanor Dobson, who will never forget him.
He qualified as a naval architect in the 1950's and started his working life at John Brown's shipyard in Glasgow. Later, he moved to Lloyd's Register of Shipping in London, where he remained until his retirement, rising to become Senior Surveyor.
You did your best; rest now difficult boy, rest.
