Anne de Rebello, formerly of Guildford Park Avenue and Mareschal Road, Guildford, passed away peacefully at Jubilee House Care Home in Godalming, Surrey, on the 23rd January 2026, aged 91 years. She leaves two children, John and Anne-Marie and four grandchildren, Patrick, Emily, Luke and Charlie.
A selfless mother and grandmother, Anne worked for Waverley Borough Council's Social Services from 1972 until her retirement in 1999. Once retired, she became well-travelled, with frequent trips to her daughter in Australia, and met and made many friends on trips to countries such as China and the Holy Land.

After Anne's diagnosis with dementia in 2018, John found that the charity AgeUK was a tremendous help in assisting Anne to maintain her independence at home for as long as she could.
Anne will be deeply missed by all her family and close friends.
