Rowland Edward Stokes (Rowly) died peacefully at home on 23rd April 2025, age 96. A dearly loved husband of Una (deceased) for 66 years, much loved father of Sue, Jane and Roy, and father-in-law of Martin, Nigel (deceased) and Jenny. He was a proud and loving grandad to Kellie, Hayley and Jodie, along with their husbands Stewart, Nick and Bert, and he treasured his five lovely great grandchildren Joey, Coby, Quinton, Soraya and Isaac.
We, as a family, feel privileged and lucky to have had Dad in our lives for so long. He was the kindest, gentlest man, was loved very much, and he will be sadly missed by us all.
A celebration of Dad's life will be held on Tuesday 13th May at 10.45 am at Charter Chapel, Canley Crematorium, Coventry. Family and friends welcome. Please let the family know if you plan to attend.
Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to The Myton Hospices who have looked after many of our family members so well. Dad was a big supporter. There will be a donation box on the day.
