Dr John Wyatt, Director of W.Sussex institute of Higher Education from 1977-96 has died peacefully aged 92.
He served as Chair of W.Sussex Probation Service, Visiting Professor at Southampton University and Visiting Fellow at the University of East London. He was previously Principal of Culham College and had been Vice Principal of Bishop Grosseteste College.
He was a trustee and supporter of Regis School of Music and loved playing the sax in Littlehampton Concert Band. He was actively involved in walking, painting, cricket, church and fundraising.
He will be greatly missed by Susan and SJ, his son-in-law Peter and his Grandaughter Imy.
The funeral will take place on Wednesday 18th December 2024 at Felpham Methodist Church at 12.30pm, doors open 12noon, and then Commital at Arun Crematorium at 2.00pm. The Reception will take place at the Regis School of Music, 46 Sudley Rd, Bognor Regis.
