Loved and sadly missed. Michael had been coping with Alzheimer's but to lose him so suddenly was a shock indeed. One of Michael's most favourite things (apart from pudding!) was sunshine, so the family would like us to get together to celebrate his accomplished life with as sunny a disposition as we can manage!

Yorkshire
Michael and Angela relocated to Leeds to be nearer to Angela's sons and daughters-in-law a year ago and were so very grateful for their endless care and support. With friends old and new here, as well as family, the initial funeral will take place locally on 27th March at 11.30am at Lawnswood Crematorium, Leeds.
Dress code - smart casual but not necessarily dark

Dorset
Next there will be a gathering in Dorset where Michael and Angela lived for 20 years. This gathering will take place in Summer, 2024. Date and venue to be confirmed.
Jersey
Finally a tribute to Michael's work and memory in his beloved home island of Jersey, to take place later in Summer, 2024. Date and venue to be confirmed.
Donations
The choice of Cancer Research for donations is because that organisation, differently named then, funded Michael's biochemistry cancer research PhD between 1963 and 1966. Michael and Angela also supported Cancer Research following the loss of Michael's beloved daughter Jane in 2010.
