After a long battle with cancer, Vanessa passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Hospice Of St Francis. She slipped away with her family at her side.
Now at peace, she is already missed more than she can ever have imagined- a much loved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to so many across the world
Her family have been comforted by the hundreds of messages of condolence received , and extend an invitation to anyone whose lives were touched by Vanessa, however briefly, to join us at her funeral service. We are mourning her loss, but she asked that we should celebrate her life, so please include a subtle splash of colour in your chosen outfit - perhaps in a tie, a scarf or jewellery.
All attendees are requested to attend the reception immediately afterwards, at her family home which meant so much to her during her life.
You will all be most welcome to remember and celebrate the life of this extraordinary woman, Vanessa Kate Simpson.
