It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Philip, a devoted father and husband, treasured friend, and gentle soul, who left us peacefully on the 25th of May 2025. Philip’s unfailing kindness, quiet wisdom, and steadfast love for his family touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures, whether that be sharing a laugh over a Sunday roast with family or whilst playing cards with friends.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, children, grandchildren, extended family, and many friends, whose lives are richer for his presence and whose hearts feel his loss most keenly. A private service will be held for close family and friends, with a celebration of Philip’s life to follow immediately afterwards at the Hatfields pub.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to cancer research.
May he rest in peace, forever remembered and deeply missed
