It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gaynor Matthews, who died on 26th November 2025, just 16 days after celebrating her 80th birthday.
A funeral service to honour Gaynor’s life will be held on
Monday, 5th January at 10:00am
at Deri Community Centre,
followed by a committal at Brithdir Cemetery, where she will be reunited with her beloved husband, Royston Matthews.
After the committal, friends and family are warmly invited to return to Deri Community Centre for the wake to share memories and celebrate her life.
Family flowers only, please.
Donations in Gaynor’s memory may be made to the Stroke Association.
Gaynor will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
