Jane passed away peacefully on 27th February 2026, following a short illness bravely borne at Sue Ryder Hospice, Leckhampton.
Beloved wife of 47½ years to Ian Dowdeswell.
Much loved mother of Amy and mother-in-law to Ollie; devoted nanny to Ottilie and Clementine.
Much loved mother of Thomas and mother-in-law to Sarah; devoted nanny to Wilfred.
Much loved mother of Laura and mother-in-law to Harry; devoted nanny to Molly and Freddy.
Much loved mother of Emily and mother-in-law to Nathan; devoted nanny to Ziggy.
Much loved mother of Lucy and mother-in-law to Kai; devoted nanny to Xanthe.
Jane’s funeral will be a celebration of her life. In keeping with her warmth and vibrant spirit, bright colours are warmly encouraged.
Family flowers only. Donations in Jane’s memory are being collected for Sue Ryder Hospice, Leckhampton and Guide Dogs, and may be made using the links provided or left in the retiring collection on the day.
