Roland Godfrey Leal, sadly passed away at the West Suffolk Hospital, on Monday 27th October 2025, aged 84 Years.
Beloved husband to Veronica. Father to Deborah, Eugene, Raphael, Justin and Selena. Grandfather to Thomas, Jessie, Celeste, Gabriella, Theo, Tadi and Oren. Great grandfather to Mila and Xander
Roland was born in Guyana, raised in Trinidad then moved to the UK and made his home in Bury St. Edmunds. He was well known, well liked and will be missed by the local community. He was a keen sportsman, played cricket for the local team and a supporter of Bury Town FC and Ipswich Town FC.
He embraced life, valued friends and loved his family unconditionally. We shall all miss his infectious smile, his positivity and sunny disposition.
