Dear friends,
As most of you will be aware, Mary was diagnosed with breast cancer in January. She died very peacefully at St Luke's Hospice at 9.30am on Thursday 28th March, age 83, with her husband, Syd, and youngest son, Chris, by her side.
We understand that many of you had a long-standing friendship with Mary that was carried out across the miles and saying goodbye to her in person may understandably not be doable.
However, for those of you who are able to attend, we would love you to join us in celebrating Mary’s life. We kindly invite you to attend her funeral service.
On behalf of all of us, we thank you for the friendship you offered Mary over the years, which we know meant so much to her. She was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother and friend, and will be dearly missed by us all.
