In Loving Memory of Polly Ann Louise Bailey (née Epton)

Aged 49, who passed away peacefully on the evening of Tuesday 28th October 2025 at Ty Olwen Hospice, Swansea, surrounded by love.



She leaves behind her beloved son, Matthew, aged 14, whom she adored and was so incredibly proud of. Polly also leaves behind her mum Ann, who will miss her dearly; her lil’ sis’ Amy, who has always looked up to and been inspired by her; and her partner Andy, who brought a sparkle to her eye and was by her side until the very end.

 

Polly was diagnosed with terminal cancer (Cholangiocarcinoma) just a few weeks before her father’s passing in December 2022. Though given only months to live, she embraced life with courage, joy, and an unwavering positivity that inspired everyone around her.

 

She lived every day to the fullest — eagerly ticking off her bucket list, raising funds and awareness for the Cholangiocarcinoma charity AMMF, and sharing her light and strength with all she met.

To honour Polly and raise further awareness for AMMF, we would love to arrange a convoy of cars from Kemnal Park Crematorium to the Village Hotel, Maidstone, each decorated with purple ribbons or similar.

 

Polly wished for her funeral to be a celebration — preferring guests not wear black. She asked that guests wear purple or orange, colours that reflect her vibrant and lively spirit and to reflect her love of life that she desperately fought for.

 

There are so many whose lives were touched by Polly’s warmth, kindness, and laughter. We invite all who loved her to join us for her funeral service and afterwards, the celebration of her beautiful life. Please bring photos, stories, and memories — the moments that remind you of the joy she brought into our lives.

 

Let's come together to remember, laugh, and find comfort as we honour the amazing person Polly was.
