I was lucky enough to have time to chat through mums wishes with her before she died, which included the message she wanted to say above.
She didn't want formal wreaths, she wanted people to bring flowers from their garden, which she did admit would be tough at this time of year, so seasonal foliage would be OK instead. Alternatively, she wanted you to plant something in your garden or in a pot in her memory. As we all know she loved anything to do with the garden.
Due to the amazing help that St Christophers gave us helping mum when she came home, in addition to the British Heart Foundation we would like donations to be made to St Christophers Hospice Orpington. Www.justgiving.com/page/mel-browne-1733747178821
