John Swift passed away peacefully at home on 31st March 2026, aged 86. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, quiet strength, and deep devotion to those he loved. John was a cherished husband to Glenda and a much‑loved dad to Julian, father-in law to Janet grandad to Emma, gareth and Chloe and great grandad to Megan, oliver and Finley, roles he held with unwavering pride and tenderness.
A service to remember and celebrate John’s life will be held at Park Wood Crematorium on Thursday 23rd April, where family and friends are invited to gather in his honour.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Overgate Hospice, whose care and compassion meant so much. Donation can be made below or in person on the day of the service
