With deep sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Simon, who died on 31st March. 
Though his loss came as a shock, we take comfort in knowing he is now at peace and no longer suffering.

Simon was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind an irreplaceable space in our lives, one filled with laughter, love, and countless memories that we will carry with us always.

His absence is felt in every quiet moment, in every day that no longer includes his voice or presence. But he hasn’t left our lives entirely; he lives on in our hearts, in our stories, and in the love he gave so freely. We will speak of him often, and remember him always.

We warmly invite all who knew Simon to join us in celebrating his life, sharing memories, and giving thanks for the time we were lucky enough to have with him.

We will be entering the crematorium at 2:35pm, so we kindly ask guests to arrive no later than 2:30pm. Dad hated lateness :)

Following the service, you are invited to join us at Richmond Athletics Club for a wake. Signage will guide you to dedicated parking, payable via an app advertised on site signage. Please be sure to pay as it’s number plate recognition and unavoidable. It’s then followed by a short walk across the rugby green to the venue. Alternatively for drop offs only you can drive toward building and the area marked ‘Reception’ and signage will guide you to the venue.

Sandwiches and warm finger food will be provided, and there will be a bar available to buy refreshments. 


In keeping with Simon’s spirit, this will be a celebration of his life, with his music and shared stories. 

We kindly ask that guests wear traditional funeral attire as a mark of respect.
