It is with great sadness that the family of Mrs Doreen Winifred Joyce announces her passing after a long and fulfilling life, on May 31st 2025, at the age of 91.
Doreen passed away peacefully at Sobell House Oxford and will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 20 years, Alan Joyce, his daughter Allison (& Neil), Doreen’s three sons David (& Karen) Philip (& Trish) and Kevin (& Kaye), her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Doreen very much enjoyed going to the seaside, talking, dancing, and traveling. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends with laughter and joy all of the time.
Doreen is survived by her three children David, Philip and Kevin of whom she was forever proud and always said were“her greatest achievement in life,”
Doreen was predeceased by her husband and father of her boys Alan White, parents Harold and Elsie Bakewell and her sisters Lena and Freda.
The funeral service will be held at South Oxfordshire Crematorium, Garford, Abingdon, OX13 5PA at 10am on Tuesday 17th June 2025.
All are welcome to attend.
