On the Morning of New Years Eve, 2024, Eva Morris passed. Eva was 76 years old. She will be very much sadly missed. She was a gentle, kind and intelligent person. As a Christian, Eva enjoyed helping people and in the event of her death, she would like any donations to be made to the 'Guide Dogs Trust'. The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association relies on donations to fund its services for people with sight loss. In 2023, the charity's expenses included:
- Guide dog service: £73.9 million
- Adult services: £12 million
- Services for children, young people, and families: £9.5 million
The charity's expenses include:
- Staff costs
- Investment in its academy
- Support for puppies and dogs in training
- Funding for projects, programs, and service delivery
