E H Crouch Funeral Directors, Letchworth
About our Letchworth funeral home
We were founded in 1958 by a Letchworth local man called Ted Crouch. The values of Ted and his family remain at the heart of all that we do; your loved one and your family are our utmost priority, and we will take care of you with uncompromising compassion, every step of the way.
Our funeral home in Letchworth has recently been refurbished to give you a comforting experience when you visit us. All of our facilities are maintained to the highest standards, such as our beautiful Mercedes fleet, which you are welcome to choose for the funeral procession. We also have a chapel of rest for you to spend time with your loved one before the funeral.
We cater for all faiths, cultures and personal preferences. We are local to several churches, as well as Sri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara, North Hertfordshire Memorial Park and Crematorium and many more. Whatever kind of service you feel is most fitting, we will always be able to help you.
The wellbeing of people in our community is paramount to us, which is why we host many events such as bereavement groups, coffee mornings, funeral plan awareness days, and much more. E H Crouch Funeral Directors reviews
My father did not want a funeral and I thought this would cause problems but Crouch staff were amazing and talked me through an unattended funeral putting my mind to rest.
Nothing was rushed or too much trouble, they listened and gave great advice in a very professional and personal fashion.
The team on the day of mums funeral were great, mirroring the service in the run up to the funeral.
They made the day special and support us as a family really well.
with nothing too much trouble for him and he was always very courteous and polite.
I have still to arrange the interment of the ashes with Chris and I am sure he will guide me through this in his very professional and understanding manner. Special thanks to Judi who conducted a wonderful service at the crematorium.
I would highly recommend this branch to all.
I can't praise Crouch's enough, thank you from us all for your service and dedication.
I would single out our funeral arranger and funeral director in particular, for praise in the way that they did their jobs with quiet dignity and appropriately gentle humour. God bless you all.
A key example of Crouch's professionalism was the last minute substitute of the funeral director on the day, as he was involved in a car accident. Clare (the business manager) stepped in and I would never have known. Her attention to our needs was excellent.
We would have no hesitation in recommending E H Crouch to anyone we know who found themselves in the same situation
They have always been at the other end of the phone, answering all our questions, helping with whatever needed doing and just generally being really supportive. Nothing ever seemed too much to ask and on the day of my grandmothers funeral, they made the day go as nice as possible. We truly are grateful.
Thank you for all your valued help.
All of your staff deserve praise and in particular Luke,Kate and the civil celebrant Robbie, who was I godsend to me.
