Our expert team of funeral directors and arrangers are here to help you at this difficult time, supporting you throughout the entire process; from the moment we first meet, through to the day of the service and beyond.
While in our care, both you and your loved one will be treated with kindness and respect. Using our experience, we will offer guidance to ensure you make the decisions that are right for you regarding the funeral. With those decisions made, we will take responsibility for ensuring all aspects are taken care of. From the necessary documentation to allow The Crematorium Service to go ahead, to arranging the third party payments.
We pride ourselves on the attention to detail and the highest standards of service that we provide, and are ready to ensure your loved one's funeral is a fitting send off.
The estimated total cost of The Crematorium Service includes a basic coffin with lining and fittings. We have a wide choice of alternative coffin and casket options that are available for an additional cost.

Crematorium Service at a glance
- We will support and guide you through each stage of the arrangement
- Your loved one brought into our care by a professional team using specialist vehicles and equipment
- Personal, face-to-face guidance from our funeral arranger, who will also liaise with the necessary third parties on your behalf
- Your loved one continually cared for with respect and dignity by a team of funeral experts, while resting in a climate-controlled mortuary
- We will arrange and manage payment of the crematorium fees
- A complimentary online Funeral Notice, informing friends and family of the service and commemorating the life of your loved one
- A basic coffin with lining and fittings included in price, which can be upgraded to a coffin or casket from our available range
- Freshly made floral arrangements to the value of £50 are included. Additional floral tributes can be arranged
- Your loved one will be transported directly to the crematorium in a specialised funeral vehicle
- We will meet you at the crematorium, where a member of the team will conduct the service. You can choose and pay for an alternative celebrant or minister of religion, if preferred
- The ashes are returned to our funeral home for collection, or scattered in the crematorium's gardens of remembrance
Some important things to consider
- The service and cremation takes place at Haltemprice crematorium at 9.30am.
- You will be required to pay all charges in full at the point of making the arrangement
- Additional charges will apply for bringing your loved one into our care outside of normal working hours and for mileage incurred beyond 20 miles from our premises
- The removal of mechanisms such as pacemakers, which must be removed before a cremation, may incur an additional cost

The Service at Haltemprice Crematorium
The Crematorium Service provides a cremation, simple coffin, floral tributes and our own speaker to conduct a 9:30am service at Haltemprice Crematorium. The Crematorium Service can be altered to make it personal and reflect your loved one. If preferred you can appoint a minister, celebrant, humanist or family member to conduct the service instead. You can choose an alternative coffin and floral tributes to those provided too.
