Solvency assessment reports

The independent solvency assessment reports for the trusts that hold Dignity funeral plan payments, published in full as required by the Financial Conduct Authority.

About these reports

When you buy a funeral plan from us, the money you pay goes into a trust. That trust is held separately from Dignity's own money, and it exists for one purpose: to pay for the funerals those plans cover.

Every year an independent actuary assesses each trust and reports on whether its assets are enough to meet the funerals it has promised. The Financial Conduct Authority requires us to publish each assessment in full, so you can read exactly what the actuary found.

These are technical documents, written by actuaries for a specialist audience, and we publish them in full.

The reports

There is a separate report for each trust. Seven are assessments at 31 December 2025.

If you are not sure which trust holds the payments for your plan, your plan documents will tell you.
