I was given outstanding professional care and service from all of the staff I encountered at A Shepherd & Sons. Living over 130 miles from Hull I was afforded sound advice and the support given throughout to both of our families was not just respectful, but exemplary. It is reassuring to know that a firm such as this, is avaiable to residents of Hull. They offer a dignified and personalised service to families at a time of need. I recommend the professional expertise and compassionate care of this firm without hesitation.

At my late mothers funeral pam longley, Neil i think his name was, was very unprofessional constantly smiling and laughing to himself, looked very lonely standing there looking scruffy. I hope in the future, he takes more pride in his appearance and how he behaves.

Shepherds treat us with compassion and kind understanding from the initial phone call through to visiting to discuss arrangements. Glen made a very daunting situation tolerable. His attention to detail and patience made it all the easier - this is clearly not β€˜just a job’ to Glen, as he went above and beyond to put us at ease immediately, fulfilling our wishes and treated us with kindness at every opportunity.

My grateful thanks to all involved. We are now looking at our own Funeral Plan such was the dignity and empathy shown.
