Coombes & Sons Funeral Directors, Bovey Tracey

About our Bovey Tracey funeral home
We understand that this will be a difficult time, which is why our caring team of funeral directors will be on hand to offer comfort and support. We are here to listen, as much as anything, taking the time to learn about you, your family and your loved one. This helps us to shape the funeral to how you want it.
The loss of somebody special can lead to a mixture of emotions, as well as uncertainty as to what to do next. We will provide guidance and advice, when you need it, so you are not left to make important decisions alone and whatever your preferences are for the ceremony, we will arrange them accordingly.
This means that regardless of whether you want a religious or humanist funeral, a traditional service or something a little more contemporary – a woodland burial, for instance – or even a send off that is uniquely personal to you and your loved one, we will endeavour to see your wishes through.
Established in 1923, Coombes & Sons Funeral Directors has been a trusted local presence for almost a century, serving many generations of the same families. We can be found on Fore Street, in the centre of Bovey Tracey, placing us within easy reach of nearby towns and villages in Devon, including Chudleigh, Chudleigh Knighton, Coldeast and Kingsteignton.
If you want to spend some time with your loved one, our funeral home has a chapel of rest in which you can do so privately and in comfort. If it is more convenient for you, it can be opened outside of normal hours.
There is always a sympathetic ear ready to listen, so call us any time of the day or night and we will be here for you.

Reviews of our services
On the day the service proceeded with dignity and respect in a truly professional and seamless manner, which was a fitting tribute to my late mother.
Each and every member of my family were so impressed with how the final day went.
Coombes and Sons reinforced the need and benefits of Local and small community services. They don't make you feel like "Just another customer". They will go the extra distance to make sure the "Final day" is special and unique, to you.
