What does a Dignity funeral director do?

Here at Arthur Denyer Funeral Directors in Brighton, we are often asked what a funeral director does, or what a typical day for a funeral director looks like.
We support the family ...

Here at Arthur Denyer Funeral Directors, at least one funeral director remains on call outside of our normal opening hours, so there will always be someone on hand to offer support, advice and guidance.

While care for the departed is at the heart of what we do, the care we offer to those left behind is of equal importance. All of our funeral directors take seriously their duties in reassuring the family and helping them through the process. Those experiencing loss will have choices to make regarding the funeral, and a funeral director will aim to give them the confidence they need to reach those decisions.
Supporting family members at a funeral service
Our funeral directors always take the time to understand exactly who your loved one was and what they meant to the family. This is all part of the service Arthur Denyer in Brighton provides to the local community it is proud to serve.

Our funeral directors offer support to every family dealing with the loss of a loved one while also helping out with the administrative side of bereavement, including guidance on what paperwork is required and advice to ensure that everything is completed correctly and on time.

The care provided by our funeral directors is universal, meaning every single person receives the same attentive treatment as part of our 'care of the deceased' process.

To ensure a loved one is looked after in accordance with the family's wishes, our funeral arrangers, embalmers and operatives all perform their duties to the highest of standards, from the moment of collection through to the funeral service and the final goodbye.

Arthur Denyer Funeral Directors is thankful to the families of Brighton for allowing us to support them during their times of need. That's why we like to express our gratitude by working with local care homes, training the clergy in funeral procedure, or advising other public bodies on care for the deceased and bereaved.

Being a part of Dignity means that our funeral directors are always honoured to give something back to the communities we help.
