From our funeral home on Loose Road (the former Lloyds Bank building) we serve the town of Maidstone, along with neighbouring communities including Shepway, Coxheath, Kingswood and East and West Farleigh. Over the years, our funeral directors has been entrusted with the care of the loved ones of many local families, a duty it is always an honour to perform.

  • You don't have to make an appointment at our funeral homes. However, doing so will ensure that someone can be available to cater to your needs. When arranging a funeral, our Funeral Directors are happy to visit you in your own home, if required.


  • Third party funeral costs are additional charges which we will manage for you and attach to your single invoice. Get in touch with us to confirm costs and plan a funeral to fit your budget.


  • If you choose to arrange the funeral with us, you will be given the option of a complimentary Funeral Notice. We will set it up for you using the details discussed during the arrangements. All we need is an email address.


  • Dignity Funeral Plans let you pay for your funeral in advance and at today's price. It's a way of taking control of the unexpected, setting out the arrangements and limiting the costs by paying for the services included in the funeral plan upfront.

The team at Michael Lawrence were great the whole way through, they made time for us when we just needed to get things done or confirmed and were always completely understanding. We used Michael A Lawrence to arrange my mothers funeral. This was our first experience of having to arrange a funeral but the funeral arranger, Corrina was very helpful from the start and explained the procedure and what we needed to do, what our options were etc. The choices were all ours and there was no pressure to go for the more expensive options. Corrina then went on to liaise with us as matters progressed and made all the arrangements with the vicar, crematorium etc. We were particularly pleased with the orders of service which were of a good quality and surprisingly good value.
The arrangements on the day went smoothly and overall we were very happy with the service provided and wouldn't hesitate recommending them.

At a very emotional and stressful time, Chloe worked hard to make everything happen with the minimum of input from myself. Issues I was concerned about disappeared as Chloe made all the necessary arrangements, only calling on me to confirm it was what the family wanted. Thanks to Rachel who picked up the baton and saved the day when I needed some help. Also to Stuart who was great, again making a very emotional day bearable with his professional management of the funeral service. I would highly recommended Chloe and the team.

Their service was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. The funeral parlour and chapel of rest was all very welcoming and homely. Service was the best you could wish for from beginning to end.couldnt have wished for a better arrangement or nicer people. Meeting was informative and productive. Had contact with person in charge on day twice before service to make sure we had everything we needed. Couldnt have asked for better service.
