Southborough Funeral Directors, Southborough
About our Southborough funeral home
We are here for you, helping to make a difficult time a little easier. Our experienced funeral directors know that life with a loved one is a deeply personal affair and we believe a funeral should be no different. You can tailor the details of the send off to reflect this, including the choice of flowers, tributes and other aspects that will make it unique to you and your family.
Whether it is a religious or a humanist funeral, a traditional or a contemporary service, at Southborough Funeral Directors we will arrange the service you want.
Our Tunbridge Wells funeral home is located on the London Road in Southborough and we are easily accessible to our neighbouring villages within the borough, including Bidborough, Langton Green, Pembury and Speldhurst.
There is a beautiful chapel of rest here, where you can spend time with your loved one in a comfortable and private environment. It was dedicated by the former Bishop of Tonbridge, Dr Brian Castle, and we have a plaque outside to commemorate this.

Reviews of our services
Hellena Collier was so sympathetic and caring, patient and knowledgeable she was our leading lady through this terrible time of the loss of our wife, mother and grandmother.
Kerry Farnes was totaly incharge on the day of the funeral. She did all the preparation before and ensured everything ran smoothly. I was worried about the route to the crematorium but no need Kerry had it under control.
Carol Taylor the celebrant took such care to ensure the funeral ceremony was what we wanted. This was very sad for us but she understood that whilst it was sad we were celebrating the life of a much love person who had a happy, joy filled life.
From start to finish, the staff made the whole process very easy and pressure-free. We were guided through every step of the arrangements, and were given the time and support we needed to make the necessary choices.
Communications were great, and we were kept up to date throughout.
On the day of the service, everything ran smoothly and professionally, and we were able to give my father the send if he deserved.
The aftercare service has also been very good.
We would certainly recommend using Southborough Funeral Directors.
I was contacted promptly, updated regularly and all my calls were returned immediately. Helena was very compassionate, empathic and professional, she listened carefully to all my concerns and requirements and provided helpful and understanding advice and solutions. Mike was very pleasant, friendly and respectful, made useful suggestions and ensured that all went well on the day with all covid regulations adhered to.
Additionally, I was delighted with the quality of the floral arrangements and funeral stationery as well as other touches included which I felt were all excellent value for money.
In the unfortunate event I am required to arrange another funeral, I would not hesitate to call Southborough Funeral Directors who guided me though a sad time and made the unwelcome task of organising a funeral infinitely more bearable.
