Our funeral services

Through the packages we offer, we are able to arrange a funeral suited specifically to your needs. Whatever kind of funeral you have in mind, our Full Service Funeral ensures it will be arranged exactly the way you want. If you can be a little more flexible with some of the elements, such as the date and the time, our Simple Funeral Service is available at a lower cost.

How does a Full Service Funeral compare to a Simple Funeral?

Regardless of which funeral service you choose, there will be no compromise on quality. Your loved one will always:
  • Be cared for and looked after by professionally trained people with years of expertise
  • Rest in our climate-controlled mortuary, where they will receive continual care
  • Be available to visit, by agreed appointment, in our private chapel of rest

What does a Dignity Funeral Director do?

We sometimes get asked what a typical day for a funeral director, here at Ronald P Sherry & Son, looks like.
Support the family...
At Ronald P Sherry & Son Funeral Directors, someone is here every step of the way. At least one Funeral Director remains on call 24 hours a day, meaning that no matter what time a loved one passes, someone is available to meet the family and begin offering support.

Although care for the departed is a critical feature of the role, of equal importance are those left behind. Funeral Directors have a duty of care to families, reassuring them and providing guidance. Those experiencing loss may feel overwhelmed by decisions they have to make regarding funeral arrangements, which is why we are always there to offer advice through this process.
Supporting family members at a funeral service
Dignity Funeral Directors will listen with care, honouring any wishes the family may have. This is all part of the service that Ronald P Sherry & Son provides to the Paddington community it has supported for over 130 years.

We also help with the administrative side of bereavement, which includes, but is not limited to, advising on the completion of any necessary forms and ensuring they are returned within a timely manner.

Every loved one that passes receives the same attentive treatment as part of our 'care of the deceased' process.

This means that every loved one is cared for according to the wishes of their family, with a team of funeral arrangers, embalmers and operatives performing their duties to the highest standards.

Ronald P Sherry & Son Funeral Directors is thankful to the community here in Paddington for allowing us to support them during the most difficult of times. That is why it is important to us to express our gratitude, whether that's working in local care homes, educating clergy on funeral procedures or advising public bodies on how they support the deceased and bereaved.

Being a part of Dignity means we are always ready to assist and give something back.
