Zoe and the team at George Webb were exceptional. My father in law had a pre paid plan and Zoe supported in ensuring his wishes were carried out. Making arrangements over a distance was so much easier during such a difficult time. Communication from Zoe was brilliant and she guided those visiting the chapel of rest and us when collecting his ashes with compassion and kindness. Thank you.

27th of July my Uncle Geoff sadly died and the only funeral service we wanted to use was Webbs as my great grandad had his service here as did other family members and they have always been very helpful and given an excellent service throughout the years, especially as this one was the blind leading the blind as we’d never sorted a funeral before me and my mom his older sister and we had him brought back to his home from where we lived which is about 90 mile away and Webbs sorted that all for us.

We met Zoe she was lovely apart from being a villa fan and Nigel of course he’s the same another villain (oh dear ) and Lynda who is a big Baggies fan just like Geoff was,so they helped us to sort out a Baggies theme funeral for him which was what he wanted to go home and to be in his Baggies shirt. When they brought him back home they dressed him in his Albion shirt and the clothes I gave them and we were allowed to see him for as long as we wanted to which was very good of them there was no time limit for us as we didn’t want to leave him on his own. They even put a white rose in his coffin to show as a mark of respect along with the note I left him the bag of Jelly Beans as his nickname was Jelly Bean and a bear that he had had for years off a special little girl he once knew. The service was lovely too as Phil the celebrant was a Baggies fan as well and he wore a Baggies shirt too which we knew Geoff would have loved even I who is a Liverpool fan wore a Baggies shirt borrowed from his wardrobe and I even bought me a Baggies cap too.

My Uncle Geoff even got to go round the Baggies ground one last time with us.

When we got back to Webbs Zoe was there waiting for us and told us if we ever needed to talk or any help to just give them a ring we told her we would do as it was like leaving a family behind when we had to say goodbye and thank you to Zoe, Nigel and Lynda and the driver Phil and the celebrant Phil we could not fault them they was brilliant.

We always use Webbs so what we don’t understand is why is the name changing to Gibbs as it’s always been Webbs since at last 1963 with my great granddad. We thank you for all your kind words and help at this difficult time we will both miss you all such lovely honest and genuine helpful people we ve ever had the pleasure in knowing.

Many thanks Bec and Jack xx
