Our funeral services

Families often come to us looking for a service that reflects their loved one’s values and personality. For example, a more contemporary service may be requested by the family, or they may wish for the service to be held on a day of sentimental significance. For bespoke requests like these, we would recommend our Full Service Funeral.

As a lower-cost option, the Simple Funeral is suited to families who are happy to be flexible on some funeral details, such as the date or time of the service. For more information please call us.

How does a Full Service Funeral compare to the Simple Funeral?

Regardless of which funeral service you choose, there will be no compromise on quality. Your loved one will always:
  • You are welcome to visit the deceased in our private chapel, by appointment
  • Your loved one will be taken care of in our climate-controlled mortuary
  • Our experienced team of professionals will provide you with support
The following table shows some of the popular choices* when it comes to arranging a funeral.

What does a Dignity Funeral Director do?

We are often asked “what is a typical day here at W Kaye & Son?” Or “what do your funeral directors do?”
Support the family ...
One of our funeral directors is on call 24-hours a day to ensure support is available whenever it's needed. There is no typical day at W Kaye and Son because of our promise to care for the Leeds community, no matter the hour.

Caring for the deceased is our primary role; however, we also offer emotional support to the families left behind. Arranging a funeral for your loved one can be an overwhelming process. The family member organising the service can sometimes get forgotten amidst the preparations.
Supporting family members at a funeral service
Hearing stories about the deceased's life enables us to understand the kind of person they were. This information helps us to provide recommendations on the service and prepare a genuinely personal celebration of life.

During this challenging time, dealing with formalities such as signing paperwork can be daunting. To help, we guide families through arranging the funeral. We will advise on a range of tasks such as completing necessary administration in a timely manner.

Our attentive team will always follow our 'care of the deceased' process.

From the funeral service to the last goodbye, our highly experienced team of professional funeral operatives, embalmers and arrangers will make sure that arrangements are made respectfully and in line with the family's wishes.

We are honoured to support the people of Leeds. For this, we wish to express our deepest gratitude to the community for allowing us to help them during some of their most difficult times.

Whether it's working with local care homes, training the clergy in funeral procedure, or advising other public bodies on care for the deceased and bereaved, being a part of Dignity means our funeral directors are always ready to assist and give a little something back.
