John Bardgett & Sons Funeral Directors

About us

At John Bardgett & Sons Funeral Directors, we have been helping the families in our local community for over 100 years. We were established in 1914, and over the years we have been shaped by three generations of the Bardgett family.

We carry out funeral services in Newcastle upon Tyne and the surrounding areas, from five funeral homes in areas including Fenham, Gosforth, Ponteland, Heworth and Westerhope. Our funeral homes are regularly refurbished, ensuring that our facilities are always of the highest standards.

We are supported by Dignity Funerals, and this allows us to draw upon a wealth of knowledge and expertise, enabling us to provide all kinds of funeral services which also include alternative types of funerals such as woodland burials.

Ultimately, we are here to help you, to make sure that your loved one receives a perfect farewell, which reflects their life and is personal to you and your family. If you need our support, please get in touch at any time and we will be here to help you.
