  • When someone dies, the first steps will depend on how and where the person passed away. Our step-by-step guides will walk you through the practical steps. For additional support and personal advice, please get in touch with us.


  • You don't have to make an appointment at our funeral homes. However, doing so will ensure that someone can be available to cater to your needs. When arranging a funeral, our Funeral Directors are happy to visit you in your own home, if required.


  • Third party funeral costs are additional charges which we will manage for you and attach to your single invoice. Get in touch with us to confirm costs and plan a funeral to fit your budget.


  • If you choose to arrange the funeral with us, you will be given the option of a complimentary Funeral Notice. We will set it up for you using the details discussed during the arrangements. All we need is an email address.


  • Dignity Funeral Plans let you pay for your funeral in advance and at today's price. It's a way of taking control of the unexpected, setting out the arrangements and limiting the costs by paying for the services included in the funeral plan upfront.

Jim robin billy were were I absolutely brilliant, how the made the funeral go so good mum could not have wished for a better send off thanks to them all , just a pity more of the friends and family could not attend due to the covid restrictions,we plan to have a big family get together somewhere up in Stirling area with all the grand children great grand children when it is safe to do so mum would like that ,regards Brian finlayson troon

From the minute I called, I was lead so easily through the process with such care and consideration. Everyone was so pleasant, helpful and understanding. Such a difficult time, losing my Dad so unexpectedly but they made it as painless as it could be, given the circumstances.

During a very difficult time for me and my family, I found Jim at Tempmehill to be very kind. He spoke to us in a sympathetic and understanding manner and treated my dad with dignity. I would recommend them to anyone.

My family have now used Temple hill Funeral Directors on a couple of occasions and have found them very compassionate and understanding of what we were going through. Robin and Jim could not be more helpful by making sure any requests and wishes were carried out. Everyone there was very understanding at what was a very difficult and sad time.

Scott could not have been more helpful, the funeral went to plan, I was happy when
I first attended the parlor to organise the funeral on the passing of my Father,Scott
explained the process and what he could assist with.

The cost of the cremation was explained and I new the figure from the start which was
very helpful.

would recommend your services to others without a doubt.

My only criticism would be for persons unable to make the full payment prior to the funeral,
maybe funeral directors should have more contact with the DWP when this proves difficult for
family members raising the funds and are awaiting a payout.

As Local Councillor for Troon and South Ayrshire this has been raised by constituents having
difficulties.
